Inside Rugby are a leading Sports Management agency with more than 30 years experience in Rugby Union, specialising in elite player management. We exclusively represent some of the world’s finest rugby players and coaches, whilst always looking to grow and develop our player portfolio with new and exciting young talent.

We offer expert ‘on field’ career management, having built comprehensive and trusted relationships within professional clubs around the world. Plus, we have developed a vast and successful network of contacts to offer players advice and guidance on their ‘off field’ matters, including exciting commercial and sponsorship opportunities with many of the world’s most recognisable brands.  Our aim is to help players maximise both their playing abilities and commercial appeal where possible, and key to this is creating long lasting relationships with all our clients.

Inside Rugby have been RFU registered agents since its inception and strictly adhere to its framework, recognised by all leading Rugby Union governing bodies and playing countries around the world.

THE TEAM

Dick Best - Managing Director 

Dick coached the British & Irish Lions on their 1993 tour to New Zealand and England for 17 games from 1991, winning the Grand Slam in 1992.  After successfully coaching Harlequins and London Irish at club level, Dick moved into Sports Management in 2000, establishing Inside Rugby and successfully managing the careers of several of the biggest names in world rugby, including Sir Ian McGeechan.

Stuart Watkins - Head of Rugby ​

From a professional sports background himself, Stuart began his career in Sports Management having secured a Masters in Sports Business Management in 2008.  He joined Inside Rugby in 2010 and has gone on to successfully oversee the careers of a number of international players, including British & Irish and England international Anthony Watson.  Stuart also successfully managed the transition of professional Rugby Union’s first ever NFL crossover athlete in former England 7’s international Alex Gray.

Marco Pollecoff - Player Manager

Having always been a competitive sportsman in a variety of team sports and with a keen interest in business, marketing and management Marco joined Inside Rugby as an intern during his university placement year in 2016.  Following the completion of his Sports Marketing degree, Marco took up a full-time roll working as a Player Manager with some of the country’s most exciting young talent. Marco is committed to helping develop and guide the next generation of players, as well as our current established ones.
